About this course: Climate change is among the top issues of public concern and a topic of much media and political discussion. Geography 202 will provide you with the scientific background to make your own informed thoughts and decisions on climate change and its ramifications.  This course will help students become integrated thinkers on this hot topic by examining the links between the many components of the Earth’s system and global weather and climate patterns using the scientific method. The primary focus of this course will be on the core science of climate and climate change, although from the perspective of impacts, adaptation and mitigation.
