IN DEVELOPMENT

April Cougar Bay Trip
The Nature Conservancy has offered our club the possibility of adopting Cougar Bay. Cougar Bay is south of Coeur d'Alene. Projects at the site would include GPS, making a map of the area, and building a kiosk. This trip would take place on a Saturday in April. More information on this possibility will be discussed at the next meeting.

Mid to Late Semester Elementary School Programs
ECB club is considering partnering with local schools to provide ecology talks to 2nd - 4th graders. These would most likely take place on weekday afternoons mid to late in the semester. About two people will be in each classroom. Bring ideas for activities to the next club meeting.

Late Semester Bonners Ferry Trip
The annual Bonner's Ferry trip is proposed for later this semester. This project will include planting trees, shrubs and wetland restoration in a beautiful environment. The trip will be on a weekend from Friday to Sunday. A minimum of eight people are needed to make this trip a possibility! Invite your friends!

ONGOING

Guest Speakers
More guest speakers at the club meetings will be offered this semester! Bring ideas for guest speakers to the club meeting! Possible guest speakers include the director of Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, and a guest speaker from the local co-op. Both will be open to the entire university so invite your friends!

ECB will be partnering with the Environmental Club and the Sustainability Center to bring a guest speaker from the co-op to our university. ECB club-members will be needed to help setup and post flyers.

PCEI (Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute)
PCEI offers many volunteer weekends. This could be a club activity or you could just get together and volunteer with some friends! For more information see the PCEI website or come to the club meeting.
