What do people with prosopagnosia see?

Some people with prosopagnosia see faces perfectly, but cannot retain the image, so they do not recognize the person the next time they see them.

Other people describe it as a blur.

The image above is a close approximation to what I see. I see a billion different details, and if you move even slightly (by breathing), I see a billion different details. At conferences when I see a speaker who is also on a big screen, I usually cannot convince myself that the person on the screen is the same person that is also in the room speaking because they look so different to me.

Other than the size, I cannot tell the image above from the bigger image on the right, unless I look at the edges of the face where I can see the pixelization of my randomizing algorithm.
