ECE 480/482 Senior Design I (Spring 2014)
Course Description
The capstone design class gives students the opportunity to demonstrate the
theory of electrical and computer engineering by solving an open-ended,
real-world, engineering problem. Students will learn how to select an optimized
solution based on constraints such as time, available tools, student capability,
economics, and customer requirements. Students in this class learn problem
solving methodologies and tools to assist making the design process efficient
in a team environment. The second semester course (ECE 481/483) focuses on
assessing design quality and effectiveness from a global perspective.
