Advising for Fall 2024

Fall registration opens Monday, April 08, 2024 for seniors.

Schedule a meeting to review your courses:

1. Follow this link to view my calendar Calendar.
2. Send me an email (devs@uidaho.edu) suggesting one or two available time slots.
3. Advising location: Engineering Physiscs (EP) 421, unless specified otherwise.

Things to do before coming to an advising session:

1. Look at your degree audit by logging into Vandal Web.
2. Download and print a copy of Course Sequence and mark the courses you have already taken.
1. For freshman year starting before 2022
2. For freshman year starting 2022
3. For freshman year starting 2023
3. Mark the courses you plan to take next semester.
4. Bring your questions and and marked course sequence with you.

Additional Information

• If you are planning to take Humanities or Social Science class next semester, look at the offered classes from Class Schedule under "General Education Courses." Take note that some Humanities and social science classes also satisfies 'American Diversity' or 'International' requirements. It may be advantages to take those if the topic area interests you. Here is the List of Humanities courses that also satisfies American Studies or International credits . Here is the List of Social Science courses that also satisfies American Studies or International credits.
• If you are planning to take "Biological Engineering Electives" next semester, any non-required BE upper-division (300 and up) classes will qualify as a technical elective. Make sure you meet the pre-requisite and that it is offered next semester by looking at the Class Schedule. You can also look at the Projected BE classes to plan ahead.
• If you are planning to take "Engineering or Science Electives" next semester, here is the list of approved electives courses. Make sure you meet the pre-requisite and that it is offered by looking at the Class Schedule.
