Technical Integration in Design
Arch 568, Spring 2014

Home Page

This required 2-credit seminar examines two related aspects of the role of building technology in architecture:

  • methods of integration of structure, enclosure, services, site and interior systems in the design and development of an architectural concept.
  • the tectonic possibilities of expressing these systems in architectural form and detail.

In addition, it is intended to support your design work in Arch 553.
